How to Build a 90-Day Marketing Plan for Your Venue in One Afternoon
Most venue owners know they should have a marketing plan. Almost none of them have one. This is the process we use with every new client — stripped down so you can do it yourself in an afternoon.

How to Build a 90-Day Marketing Plan for Your Venue in One Afternoon
A 90-day plan is the only planning horizon that makes sense for hospitality marketing. Long enough to see compound results. Short enough that the market hasn't changed on you.
Here is how to build one.
Step 1: Establish Your Baseline (30 Minutes)
Pull the numbers that actually matter: current Google rating and review count, Instagram follower count and average reach per post, email list size and open rate, and any booking or revenue data you have access to. Write these down. They are your starting point.
Step 2: Choose Three Objectives (15 Minutes)
Not ten. Not five. Three. Examples: increase Google reviews from 47 to 80, grow email list from 200 to 500, achieve 40% reach-to-follower ratio on Instagram. Specific, measurable, achievable in 90 days.
Step 3: Map Your Content Calendar (30 Minutes)
For each week of the 90 days, decide: one Instagram post theme, one email topic, one Google post. That's it. This gives you 12 emails, 12 Google posts, and 12 Instagram content themes. It feels small — it compounds significantly.
Step 4: Assign Ownership (15 Minutes)
For each task, name a person (including yourself) who is responsible for it being done by a specific day each week. Without ownership, plans become aspirations.
Step 5: Set a Weekly Check-In
Block 20 minutes every Monday to look at what went out last week, what performed, and what needs adjusting. The 90-day plan is a living document, not a locked contract.
