How The Corner Bar Added 1,200 Followers and Packed Tables in 60 Days

The Corner Bar came to us with a solid venue and a marketing presence that didn't reflect it. Good food, great atmosphere, loyal regulars — but almost no digital footprint. They were invisible to the people most likely to become their next regular customers.

The Starting Point

When we ran the initial audit, the gaps were clear: 890 Instagram followers with 3-4% reach, a Google Business Profile with 23 reviews (no recent responses), no email list, and a website with a PDF menu and no clear booking CTA.

What We Did in the First 30 Days

We started with the Google quick wins: updated photos, responded to every existing review, and posted weekly specials as GBP posts. Within three weeks, they moved from position 8 to position 3 in the local map pack for "bar Brunswick."

On Instagram, we shifted from twice-weekly static posts to a daily Stories strategy plus three Reels per week. The Reels focused on the bar's atmosphere — the kind of content that gets shared on a Friday afternoon. Average reach per Reel hit 2,400 in week two.

Days 30 to 60

We launched a $15/day Meta ad campaign targeting a 5km radius with a "Friday night at The Corner" creative. Cost per new follower came in at $0.38. We also launched a 200-subscriber email list using a Wi-Fi gate and started the weekly one-thing email.

The Results at Day 60

  • Instagram: 890 → 2,090 followers (+1,200)
  • Google: 23 → 61 reviews, position 3 in map pack
  • Email list: 0 → 214 subscribers, 44% open rate
  • Saturday bookings: waitlist from week six

The venue did not change. The marketing did.
